L'Oreal Magic BB Cream Review

I received a free sample of L'Oreal BB Cream from SheSpeaks.com. All opinions are my own.

SheSpeaks, #MagicBBCreamAs most of you know, BB Cream is HOT right now! I was pretty excited when I received this sample in the mail, L'Oreal is a brand I trust and have used a few of their products in the past.

This product gives you sheer coverage to create a natural bare skin finish, while delivering built-in benefits. It features four beautifying actions, primes and smoothes, perfects to hide flaws, hydrates, and corrects and evens skin. The L'Oreal BB Cream is infused with skincare ingredients like Panthenol, Vitamin E and Glycerin for 24-hour moisturization.

To apply, simply dot on and blend with fingertips. Self-adjusting beads will instantly transform and blend to your skin tone.
L'Oreal Paris Magic BB Cream retails for $10.95 for 1 fl oz. It is available in four shades and is sold at mass food and drug retailers nationwide. Click here to find out more.

What I thought
I like this product! When I first read that there were color beads in the cream I did freak a bit. My skin is super sensitive to any type of beads/exfoliates. I was very nervous to try the product after reading that. But, I forged on and.....I honestly did not feel them at all! I was shocked! I just knew my face would end up being very irritated, but it was not, I could not feel the beads at all! *I wanted to add that I have seen a few reviews of this product that received the darker shades and they COULD feel the beads. I am not sure why the fair is so different from the other shades but, it looks like it is.

The first thing you will notice about the L'Oreal Paris Magic BB Cream is that it comes out of the tube white. I thought there was a defect at first, I assure you there is no defect. I received 'Fair' and have seen a few other reviews that received darker shades, their BB Cream was white as well.

As you apply the cream the color beads pop open to create a wonderful shade that blends in naturally with your skin tone. The cream feels kind of like a wet powder as you are putting it on and becomes a bit dewy until it sets. Once the cream sets it becomes a bit more matte, but not super matte, while still being a touch dewy.

The L'Oreal Magic BB Cream offers a light coverage. You will not be able to hide acne with this product, but you can build the product up and help conceal a bit better. For me the coverage was just fine. I used this BB Cream for about 2 weeks and the entire time I used it I would apply the BB Cream, allow it to set for a few minutes, then apply powder. I did not use a foundation or concealer. I liked the finished look and for me gave just enough coverage without being fake looking.

FROZEN Hot Chocolate

I am sure by now, most of you know that FROZEN the Movie is coming to theaters THIS WEEK (the 27th to be exact)! I am so excited!! My girls saw some of the FROZEN merchandise while we were at Walt Disney World and that is all they could talk about.....for days! It has been a rough school year for both of the girls so far. Mads is adjusting to being in the upper elementary, was dealing with a bully and gets super frustrated with math (even though she is really good at it). MG is adjusting to actually being in school, went through a time of having accidents at school and she just misses her mommy. To celebrate Mads good grades and MG going a month accident free, I decided to treat the girls with a few fun new toys and some hot chocolate. Once I heard that FROZEN merchandise was available at Walmart, I ran to stock up. While I was there, it hit me! I could have #Frozenfun with the hot chocolate and make FROZEN Hot chocolate! I just knew the girls would love it! I was k

Le Cellier - Chedder Cheese Soup Recipe Review

I first talked about this soup here .   I have to admit, was not real eager to try this soup.  I can not stand the taste of beer.  PERIOD!  It doesn't take much in a recipe for me to be able to taste it.  With that being said, the soup wasn't bad.  I would try it with ginger ale next time though. Before I tell you what I thought of the soup I need to be fair and tell you about some changes I made to the recipe. First, the recipe tells you to cook the bacon just to render out the fats, not to make crispy.  I did not render out enough of the fats and in fact next time, I would cook the bacon until it IS crispy.  I don't like limp bacon, I like my bacon extra crispy. Second, I TOTALLY forgot to cook down the onions and celery before adding the flour!  Ummmm......ooops! So my bacon was limp and my veggies were crispy!  HAHA! Next, I am not on a budget to be able to purchase "Aged White Cheddar" so good ol Yellow Sharp Cheddar it was! I did NOT add one tablespoo

Strawberries and Cream Instant Oatmeal | Recipe

I don't know about you but, we go through oatmeal like that is the only thing to eat on this planet!   Seriously a TON! My youngest would eat it for every meal and snack....every day....if I let her. Yes, the little packs can be cheap (if you can find a coupon and get them on sale) but it still adds up.  I used things I already had on hand so there was no extra cost to make this.  FREE is ALWAYS good!   I tried before to make little packets to keep on hand but that was a complete fail.  I have since reworked the recipe and am happy with the results.  I decided to just keep the oatmeal in a glass container this time and scoop out what we need, when we need it.  You can also make this into packets by just scooping the desired amount into zip-top bags. {Strawberries & Cream Instant Oatmeal}   12 Servings 6 Cups Quick Cook Oats 1 1/2 Cups Oat Powder 2 Cups Powdered Milk 1 - 1 1/2 Cup Sugar 1 Cup Freeze Dried Strawberries Directions f
