30 Valentine's Day Ideas

Valentine's Day is just around the corner! Do you go all out or are you more low-key? We are kind of in between. I do a special Valentine's Day breakfast that is super fun for the girls, they have their school parties and then Daddy gets them something special (usually a box of chocolate and a card). I can't stand going out on Valentine's Day because places are P.A.C.K.E.D. so I usually fix a special meal, a little fancier than normal, that includes dessert. Over the past few weeks, you guys have been posting some awesome links to great Valentine Ideas on our Make, Bake, Create Party and given me TONS of fun ideas! Here are my top 30 links from the party and around the web! 1) Mini Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecakes - The First Year Blog 2) Valentine Rage Heart - Grandparents Plus 3) Valentine Party Pouches - Shaken Together 4) Red Velvet Pancakes with Nutella Cream Cheese Sauce - Anyonita Nibbles 5) I love You Sign - The Life of a Craft Craze Mom

Homemade Toaster Strudel

Do you remember when the original Toaster Strudel came to a grocery store near you? I do. Oh how I loved them. We would beg my mom to buy them, and she would on occasion. I reluctantly introduced my girls to the flaky goodness a few years ago. They loved them. Then I decided to go and get all ingredient conscious and decided to stop buying them. The girls keep begging me to buy them. No. I knew there had to be a way to make them, I just didn't know how. So, off to Pinterest I went and discovered all sorts of different recipes, but they all consist of the same basic ingredients, Puff Pastry and Jam. That's it. Well, unless you count the egg you use to seal the little pockets of love. I wouldn't say this is a cheaper version, but I like that I can control the ingredients. I do eventually want to try my hand at homemade puff pastry, but for now I will buy it. Homemade Toaster Strudel Serves 8 Ingredients 2 Sheets (1pkg) Puff Pastry 8 Tbs Jelly 1 Egg -

#ad Top 3 Sausage Breakfast Ideas

I am a member of the Collective Bias®  Social Fabric® Community.  This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for #CollectiveBias and its advertiser. As you all know, I am a HUGE Wright Brand Bacon fan. I don't think fan is strong enough to describe my love of Wright Brand . You can imagine how excited I was to find out that they now offer Sausage! As soon as I found out, ideas started popping in my head left and right on how to incorporate it into our breakfast routine. I knew I wanted to take it beyond just a side to waffles or pancakes.  Growing up, it was rare we had sausage gravy, we usually just had plain cream gravy made with bacon grease. Because of this, it took me a while to warm up to sausage gravy. Once I started making my own gravy, I preferred making it with sausage. Why? Well, because it helped hide the lumps. Yep. What good southern girl doesn't know how to make gravy? What good southern girl has two thumbs pointing to hers
