Painted Ornaments

I LOVE Painted Ornaments! I think they are SO special.

Even though I am by FAR not the best painter in the world, these are SUPER easy and so fun to make!

What you will need:

Glass ornament of your choice*

Paint

Paint Brush

Directions:

Get Creative and have fun!

Once dry I like to add ribbon to help make it pop a little more.

See! I told you I can't paint! lol But, I think it is still pretty cute.

I just painted red and green dots randomly, added the "B" and hot glued some ribbon on.

The total cost to make 4 ornaments was around $5!!

*You CAN use plastic ornaments but for these I like the look of glass better.

I don't know about you but, we go through oatmeal like that is the only thing to eat on this planet! Seriously a TON! My youngest would eat it for every meal and snack....every day....if I let her. Yes, the little packs can be cheap (if you can find a coupon and get them on sale) but it still adds up. I used things I already had on hand so there was no extra cost to make this. FREE is ALWAYS good! I tried before to make little packets to keep on hand but that was a complete fail. I have since reworked the recipe and am happy with the results. I decided to just keep the oatmeal in a glass container this time and scoop out what we need, when we need it. Hey guys! I have some EXCITING news! Today I am posting over at Mom It Forward ! I have shared my Fiesta Chicken Tacos recipe, it is SO good! Go check it out! While you are there, check out all of my other posts I have shared there. The Fiesta Chicken Taco mix is GREAT on nachos as well! I also made a quesadilla with some of the mix last night and it was AMAZING! This is also a very frugal meal, the total cost for me was $2.67! Here is the breakdown: Leftover Chicken - Free Black Beans - $0.50 for 1 can Frozen Corn - $0.17 (it was on sale and I used coupons, it was $0.33/bag and I used half a bag) Tomatoes and Green Chilies - FREE (again, on sale and I had a coupon) Tortillas - $2 Total- $2.67! Now, if you had to buy all of that at regular price it still equals out to a very frugal meal. Enjoy!
