Your hosts are:

We would love for you to follow us on Google+!

I am SO honored to be the official MBC Party host this week! We had a lot of great submissions last week, it was really hard for me to decide which recipe or craft to feature! You guys are seriously talented!

I decided to go with a recipe. I have a function coming up that requires everyone to bring something that is easy to eat with your hands or while sitting in a chair holding your plate. I volunteered to bring a dessert. When I saw the Whoopie Pies that Becky from Read My Chicken Scratch linked up I KNEW that is what I wanted to take to the event and share with you all as well!
The Whoopie Pies are just as she states, Easy! Becky shared how to make a chocolate version, I made mine vanilla. All I did was switched out the chocolate cake mix and pudding for vanilla. I then added 2 vanilla beans and mixed it all up following her directions. Since mine are for an event, I did not want them to be very big so I made a mini version. I was able to get about 40 Whoopie Pies out of the mix.

I also made her Marshmallow Fluff recipe then followed the instructions in her Whoopie Pie post to make the filling. I did not change anything with either of these recipes.

Oh my gosh! These are SO good! I will be experimenting with different flavors soon!

Thank you all so much for linking up last week! To see some of my favorite posts, check out my MBC Feature Post!

FROZEN Hot Chocolate

I am sure by now, most of you know that FROZEN the Movie is coming to theaters THIS WEEK (the 27th to be exact)! I am so excited!! My girls saw some of the FROZEN merchandise while we were at Walt Disney World and that is all they could talk about.....for days! It has been a rough school year for both of the girls so far. Mads is adjusting to being in the upper elementary, was dealing with a bully and gets super frustrated with math (even though she is really good at it). MG is adjusting to actually being in school, went through a time of having accidents at school and she just misses her mommy. To celebrate Mads good grades and MG going a month accident free, I decided to treat the girls with a few fun new toys and some hot chocolate. Once I heard that FROZEN merchandise was available at Walmart, I ran to stock up. While I was there, it hit me! I could have #Frozenfun with the hot chocolate and make FROZEN Hot chocolate! I just knew the girls would love it! I was k

Le Cellier - Chedder Cheese Soup Recipe Review

I first talked about this soup here .   I have to admit, was not real eager to try this soup.  I can not stand the taste of beer.  PERIOD!  It doesn't take much in a recipe for me to be able to taste it.  With that being said, the soup wasn't bad.  I would try it with ginger ale next time though. Before I tell you what I thought of the soup I need to be fair and tell you about some changes I made to the recipe. First, the recipe tells you to cook the bacon just to render out the fats, not to make crispy.  I did not render out enough of the fats and in fact next time, I would cook the bacon until it IS crispy.  I don't like limp bacon, I like my bacon extra crispy. Second, I TOTALLY forgot to cook down the onions and celery before adding the flour!  Ummmm......ooops! So my bacon was limp and my veggies were crispy!  HAHA! Next, I am not on a budget to be able to purchase "Aged White Cheddar" so good ol Yellow Sharp Cheddar it was! I did NOT add one tablespoo

Strawberries and Cream Instant Oatmeal | Recipe

I don't know about you but, we go through oatmeal like that is the only thing to eat on this planet!   Seriously a TON! My youngest would eat it for every meal and snack....every day....if I let her. Yes, the little packs can be cheap (if you can find a coupon and get them on sale) but it still adds up.  I used things I already had on hand so there was no extra cost to make this.  FREE is ALWAYS good!   I tried before to make little packets to keep on hand but that was a complete fail.  I have since reworked the recipe and am happy with the results.  I decided to just keep the oatmeal in a glass container this time and scoop out what we need, when we need it.  You can also make this into packets by just scooping the desired amount into zip-top bags. {Strawberries & Cream Instant Oatmeal}   12 Servings 6 Cups Quick Cook Oats 1 1/2 Cups Oat Powder 2 Cups Powdered Milk 1 - 1 1/2 Cup Sugar 1 Cup Freeze Dried Strawberries Directions f
